Lisa Este’ Matherne
A south Louisiana native(New Orleans), Lisa grew up as an only child . In her family she was raised by loving grandparents, as an only child in her generation, she had the attention of aunts and uncles as well as parents and grandparents.
A licensed nurse and married for almost fifty years(yes, to the same guy!) she now indulges in a life time passion for creating.This has manifested itself in her love of beads, shells sewing, and other individual expressions.
She and Becky enjoy each other, as well as what they create. They laugh, they commiserate, they joke, but most of all they respect each other and what they do together.
Becky Atkinson Stuart was born in southern California and grew up in a military family. Living in Europe on two separate occasions , she was widely exposed to the arts. It was only natural that she perused many different crafts.
After her father’s military retirement , her family settled in Key West, Florida, a city with a large art colony.
In high school she sewed most of her own clothes and belonged to a girl’s organization where she created her own gowns for their formal affairs
She has never been one to conform to mainstream fashion so one of a kind clothes and accessories have been all of her own doing! Viva the 70’s!
Currently residing in Port St Lucie with her husband, she and Lisa they have an affinity for what they do and enjoy each other’s company. They get along like sisters would like to.
Each respects the other’s opinion and mutually accept advice .They like each other!
Since they enjoy fashion jewelry, they have ventured to bring forth a line that would be creative, attractive , stylish, and affordable.
Este” as a revered noble house that fostered dukes as well as popes and for many years was the rulers of Ferrara. Este” Designs was an easy choice for a label.
